Trina N. Robinson joined the National Housing Trust/ Enterprise Preservation Corporation July 2006, as the Resident Services Coordinator.  Ms. Robinson is responsible for implementation and development of community enrichment programs and activities of interest to residents of NHT/E multifamily communities.

Ms. Robinson is also responsible for working directly with the community Residential Civic Associations.  The Resident Civic Associations help guide the residents—it provides a way for residents to join together and do something positive to make their community a great place to live.  Ms. Robinson provides regular site visits to the various properties to provide support and leadership for the residents while striving to enhance opportunities for low-income families to improve various aspects of their lives. She is also responsible for publishing a bi-monthly newsletter for sites.  Ms. Robinson’s goal is to have community enrichment programs and residential councils established in most of NHT/E’s portfolio.

Ms. Robinson brings ten years of work experience in combined insurance and residential management. Ms. Robinson is a graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia where she majored in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Ms. Robinson is a few classes short of receiving her MBA from the University of Mary Washington’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies.  She plans to complete all requirements within the next year and a half.  Recently Ms. Robinson was appointed to two administrative board positions.  One is a 4 year term on the Fredericksburg Department of Social Services Board and the other is for the Salvation Army serving on their Social Services committee. 

Ms. Robinson is an active member in the Fredericksburg community and has volunteered with the Rappahannock United Way completing taxes for those who qualified for the earned income tax credit, at the city’s local Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter.  She has recently been selected to participate in the first annual Fredericksburg Public Safety Citizen’s Academy which is a 7-week behind the scenes program with the Fredericksburg Area Fire, Police and Rescue Departments.   In Ms Robinson’s spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and building houses.  She is a licensed Virginia Class A General Contractor/Builder and recently started her own construction company, T N Robinson Construction, LLC.
