Subsidized Housing Data

Federally assisted housing provides homes for millions of families and seniors throughout the country.  The Trust plays a leading role in providing information about the federally assisted rental housing stock so that policymakers and community advocates can know where affordable housing is at risk and which properties should be targeted for preservation.

Click on a state below to access data on the state's federally assisted housing inventory (click here to access data for the District of Columbia and click here for Puerto Rico).   Reports are provided on the following properties:

  • Properties with expiring project-based Section 8 contracts (includes mortgage details if the mortgage is FHA-insured)
  • Properties with active USDA Section 515 loans
  • Properties financed with Low Income Housing Tax Credits
  • Properties with active Section 202/811 loans

For more information or specific questions about the data, contact Todd Nedwick at tnedwick@nhtinc.org.
