American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)

The economic recovery package signed into law by President Obama on February 17th is creating tens of thousands of jobs through funding targeted to the repair of Section 8 properties, public housing, investment in stalled tax credit properties, residential energy retrofits, and the rehabilitation of foreclosed homes. The National Housing Trust and its partners worked to ensure that these housing investments were included.
