Lending Overview

Through two affiliates, the National Housing Trust provides capital to meet the needs of mission driven affordable housing developers who are preserving and improving at risk existing affordable homes or creating permanently affordable housing opportunities through community land trusts and shared equity housing. We provide access to the flexible, below-market financing that is critical to ensuring that affordable housing opportunities are not lost.

Green Preservation Lending >>

The Green Affordable Housing Preservation Loan Fund provides Green Predevelopment, Interim, and Retrofit loans to housing developers who incorporate green standards and technologies in the rehabilitation of existing affordable housing.
